Anne Tournié / Director and Choreographer
Anne has danced on all stages, from Folies Bergère to the Opera (Opéra de Paris Bastille and Garnier, Opéra-Comique of Paris, Grand Théâtre de Genève, BAM in Brooklyn…) and worked with Bob Wilson, Robert Lepage, Francisco Negrin, Alfredo Arias, Jerome Savary, Francesca Zambello, Robert Carsen, Edouard Lock and many others.
Her contemporary dance is based on energy and emotion. The motto of her dance is The body is a language, but it is above all a VOICE.
She has created the choreography for Muriel Hermine’s show Crescend’o in Cirque d’Hiver in Paris and contemporary shows with the singer and author Mouron: Doubles d’Ames in France, Les chansons du Paradis in Germany, Mélodies d’Exil at the Avignon Festival, and Le Cabaret des Années Folles in Hong Kong.
Always seeking to discover new horizons, she began working with aerial acrobats to explore new dimensions in contemporary dance. This led her to work alongside Franco Dragone: Le Rêve in Las Vegas, The House of Dancing Water in Macao, and Story of a Fort, Legacy of a Nation in Abu Dhabi.
In 2014, Anne was chosen to be choreographer and associate director of the new Franco Dragone show produced by Wanda Group in China: The Han Show
In 2016, she staged the first Bollywood stunt show Dabangg at at Dubai Park Resort. In 2017, the magnificent human adventure with Chinese artists continued when she directed and choreographed Magic Romance in China for Sokol Entertainment. This show received the 2017 IAAPA Award for Best Theatrical Performance.
